Travel Tips:

1. Be aware of the times on buses and trains, for you don't want to be stuck anywhere, or have to walk home.

2. Always get up early, so you can have the whole day ahead of you.

3. When travelling around Eastern Europe, especially
Ukraine and Russia always get a 1st class train ticket. And make sure your passport is stamped as you enter the country and as you leave it.

4. Get as much information from the 'tourist office' as you can, Maps, Sightseeing brochures, 'where to go and what to see', for this stops you from wasting time.

5. The Lonely Planet is a great book to take with you.

6. When travelling to any destination, get there at least half an hour or an hour before the time.

7. If you have the time, book places to stay at least afew weeks before you go, the best way is on the internet. This will create less stress, and it's one less thing to worry about.

8. Try to be as organized as you can.

8. To see Sardinia properly, the best way to get around is by car, otherwise you could be disappointed. But Sicily has a great bus service and so does mainland Italy.
